Collected off the coast of Brittany, France, Fumee de Sel is an artisan sea salt hand-harvested by skilled workers who collect only the frothy top layer of salt from this cherished source. This moist salt is smoked with French oak wine barrels, which were previously used for aging chardonnay wine. This salt takes on a sweet and complex flavor from the chardonnay. Furthermore, the entire process is ‘certified organic.’
