Founder Louis Preneel came up with the recipe for these French Flemish waffles back in 1904. Since then, La Dunkerquoise has been kneading and baking hundreds of small dough rolls every day in the same oven! The secret to these delicious treats is actually the baking time and proportions of the ingredients used to create them.
