Asila – Our Authentic Harissa is a widely used staple of Tunisian cooking and it’s made from the finest Tunisian hot red peppers. It is my grandfather’s recipe who started producing in 1975 in the original country of birth for the Harissa; Tunisia. We don’t add any lemon, oil, or tomatoes. It is the real Harissa! It is made from the freshest ingredients with no artificial coloring or preservatives. The fresh hot red pepper that we use is a unique variety to Tunisia and it is called “Baklouti”. Our Authentic Harissa is certified kosher and comes in BPA free packaging. Asila’s Harissa brings a flavorful touch of heat to any dish. It can be used as a condiment to enhance soups, stews, appetizers, main dishes or used simply as a dip or spread.
