Harvest Song preserves begin with fruit grown in the fertile volcanic soil of the Ararat Valley (Armenia), thought to be the landing site of Noah's ark. Farms in this area have no need for fertilizer or pesticides and benefit from plentiful spring water and sunlight.
Each small batch of fruit is slowly simmered and allowed to thicken without adding pectin. This method concentrates the fruit’s natural sugar reducing the need for added sugar. Only Fruit, a little sugar, and lemon juice are used in making these preserves.
Continuing their support of artisanal crafts, Harvest Song adorns each jar with handmade rice paper from Kathmandu, Nepal. The paper is colored using natural dye and dried in the sun.
