Bodum's Tea Egg is an elegant solution to the hassles of preparing loose leaf tea. With a simple gesture of the thumb the two halves of the egg slide apart. Then, once the ample sized chamber is filled, a spring retracts the halves together. Sturdy construction allows the egg to be briskly stirred through a cup or pot of hot water. A silicon sleeve insulates your fingers from the stainless steal body. Once finished the egg can quickly be rinsed clean and stored.
