Traditionally, Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes are used for making Balsamic vinegar, which is popular for its balance of acidity and sweetness called “agrodolce.” This Sweet Red Wine Vinegar has the same agrodolce flavor. It is made from Lambrusco grape ‘must’ (freshly-pressed juice), which is reserved, then blended with the fermented vinegar from the same grape to yield a sour-sweet balance and viscosity noticeably thicker than water.
For generations, the Munari Family has been crafting artisan vinegars on their 50-acre vineyard in Carpi, near Modena, Italy.
